Job summary

GTI Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple projects with engineers and scientists for research, demonstration, or development of new technologies. The role is remote from California, with periodic travel as needed and collaboration across teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in engineering/science, 7+ years of relevant experience, and PMP training or certification is preferred. You will drive planning, budgeting, reporting, and risk management while ensuring compliance and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science-related field (ABET/EAC accreditation).
• 7+ years of professional experience after a BS.
• Formal PMP training or certification preferred.
• Experience delivering projects in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Detailed project management including scope, budget and schedule creation and maintenance.
• Ensure reporting to Federal and State Agencies is met timely.
• Develop and execute a detailed Risk Management Plan.
• Communicate with internal and external project teams to gather and provide essential information.
• Organize and summarize project status and financial data for stakeholders.
• Utilize project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, Excel.
• Participate in project planning discussions with input based on current factors.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
