Job summary

GFT invites a Project Manager to join our power team shaping energy infrastructure across transmission, distribution, and renewables. This role offers hybrid work with multiple U.S.

locations or remote for the right candidate. You will lead projects from initiation to closure, develop proposals, manage contracts, and coordinate internal and external teams while maintaining schedules, budgets, and risk controls.

Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent in Engineering or Management.
• 6–10 years of project management experience in the power delivery sector.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and related PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute, and monitor projects to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
• Prepare and manage contracts with clients, subconsultants, and vendors.
• Oversee project setup, budgets, file protocols, and document control.
• Prepare Project Execution Plans (PEPs) and work breakdown structures.
• Lead kick-off meetings and coordinate internal/external stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal resources and subconsultants/vendors.
• Manage project risks via scoping, contract reviews, and communications.
• Monitor schedules, costs, EVA, and reporting; prepare reports and forecasts.
• Identify and document scope changes and administer change orders.
