Job summary

GFT is seeking a Project Manager to join our team, with hybrid options in multiple U.S. locations including Roanoke, VA, and remote for the right candidate.

You will lead power delivery projects from initiation to closure, coordinating subconsultants and vendors, and ensuring schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met. The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of project management experience in the power sector, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.
• Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control projects to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Develop proposals and negotiate contract scopes and fees with clients.
• Prepare and manage contracts for clients, subconsultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Oversee project setup including budgets, file protocols, and document control.
• Prepare Project Execution Plans and work breakdown structures.
• Lead kickoff meetings and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal resources and manage subconsultants and vendors.
• Ensure quality management and manage project risks via scoping and review.
• Develop schedules, costs, performance metrics, and EVA reporting.
• Prepare reports, invoices, accruals, forecasts, and profitability analyses.
