Job summary

Macmillan Learning is launching a pilot program for a self-paced online platform and seeks a Project Manager to coordinate core production workflows across content, rights, marketing, and platform teams, plus external vendors. Reporting to the Associate Director, Workflow Optimization, you will maintain Jira boards, schedules, and status reports to ensure steady delivery.

This remote, six-month contractor role pays $50/hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage production workflows for self-paced online content.
• Track progress and resolve blockers using Jira tickets and task statuses.
• Facilitate content-processing operations including slides, credited images, ePUB workflows.
• Document production schedules, materials, and status reports.
• Organize production calls, agendas, and follow-up actions; maintain cross-functional communication.
• Support vendor onboarding and external partner coordination.
• Identify workflow pain points and suggest process refinements.
