Job summary

Macmillan Learning is seeking a contractor Project Manager to coordinate and execute core production workflows for a self-paced online learning platform. You will connect internal content, rights, marketing, and platform teams with external vendors to ensure smooth handoffs and steady operations across course development.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Workflow Optimization, you will manage schedules, track Jira progress, document status, and drive process refinements to support the pilot

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage production workflows for self-paced online learning content, maintaining project setup, task creation, checklist tracking, and course timelines.
• Track workflow progress and resolve blockers by actively maintaining Jira tickets, subtasks, and task statuses across multiple courses.
• Facilitate content‑processing operations across lecture slides, credited images, ePUB workflows, and delivery handoffs.
• Document production schedules, project materials, and status reports to preserve operational continuity.
• Organize production calls, prepare agendas, distribute follow‑up items, and maintain cross‑functional stakeholder communication.
• Support vendor onboarding, external partner coordination, and related operational documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify workflow pain points and support process automation initiatives.
