Job summary

Surefire Cyber is seeking a Project Manager to drive cyber incident response projects from initiation to completion. This remote US-based role requires coordinating DFIR and Advisory teams, managing budgets, and aligning client objectives with engagement plans.

You will work with stakeholders across IT, legal, and HR, ensuring timely, compliant delivery while continuously improving incident response processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management, cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of incident response frameworks such as NIST SP 800-61, ISO 27035, SANS.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in cybersecurity contexts.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and threat intel tools is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to provide after-hours on-call support for critical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Customer Success to prioritize roadmaps and initiatives.
• Build professional relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Lead project meetings and provide input on execution and improvements.
• Manage cyber incident response projects from initiation to completion.
• Oversee incident response plans, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Monitor goals, milestones, and risk mitigation with engagement leads.
