Surefire Cyber Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant in Digital Forensics and Incident Response for a remote, full-time role. You will act as a skilled technical and consulting resource, handling active incident responses for diverse clients and communicating findings clearly.

You will lead forensic investigations, mentor teammates, and stay current with the latest tools and techniques while providing after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, DFIR, and incident response.
• Client-facing forensic investigations experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze and mitigate security incidents under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Guide incidents from detection to recovery in client engagements.
• Conduct advanced forensic analysis including malware analysis and reverse engineering when needed.
• Lead investigations on SMB incidents such as BECs and ransomware with senior support.
