Job summary

Surefire Cyber is seeking a Project Manager to oversee cyber incident response engagements for clients across the United States. This role is fully remote and exempt, with responsibilities spanning planning, execution, and post-incident reviews.

You will coordinate with DFIR and Advisory teams to deliver on timelines, budgets, and outcomes while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or applicable professional experience in project management or cyber incident response.
• Experience with incident response methodologies, frameworks, and best practices (NIST SP 800-61, ISO 27035).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; able to coordinate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cyber incident response projects from initiation to completion, on time and within scope and budget.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, HR, and external clients to ensure effective incident response execution.
• Develop project plans, stakeholder communications, and resource allocations with engagement leads and DFIR teams.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across engagements.
• Provide after-hours support as needed to address critical incidents.
