Job summary

Surefire Cyber is seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee cybersecurity engagements across client initiatives. You will drive project roadmaps, coordinate DFIR and Advisory teams, and ensure timely, within-scope delivery while maintaining client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a foundation in cyber incident response and hands-on experience with cross-functional collaboration, budgeting, and post-incident actions. This is a remote USA role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or applicable professional experience as a Project Manager, particularly in cyber incident response management.
• Strong understanding of incident response methodologies, frameworks, and best practices including NIST/ISO/SANS.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and cybersecurity fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cyber incident response projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, plans, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with DFIR and Advisory teams to ensure engagements run smoothly.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support post-incident reviews and lessons learned sessions.
