Job summary

CloudFit is seeking a detail-oriented Project Finance Operations Specialist to support the financial execution of projects from contract award through cash collection. This role connects project teams, Operations, Finance, customers, and vendors to strengthen billing accuracy, cash visibility, financial performance, and operational excellence across a diverse contract portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial operations experience with an engineering and automation-first mindset

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience supporting billing, accounts receivable, project accounting, finance operations, or contract administration.
Strong understanding of invoice management, collections, and financial documentation.

Responsibilities

Manage project billing activities across a portfolio of government and commercial contracts.
Develop and maintain billing schedules aligned with contractual requirements and project milestones.
Prepare and submit accurate customer invoices while tracking billing status, exceptions, unbilled activity, and collection follow-through.
