Job summary

Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is seeking a Project Director to lead a portfolio of health care improvement projects, working remotely from the United States. You will guide project teams, coordinate with faculty, Improvement Advisors, and Sr.

Sponsor to deliver impactful programs that improve health outcomes globally. We seek leaders with 3-5 years of experience directing projects in health care settings and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of leading project teams that have met deadlines within budget and reported progress to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Quality Improvement (QI) methodologies or frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize project objectives for projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals.
• Monitor project progress, deliverables, and risks, escalating major concerns to the SPD as needed.
• Act as the primary liaison with project stakeholders, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
• Collaborate with the PMO to allocate resources effectively, ensuring efficient project execution.
• Identify and document potential risks, recommending mitigation strategies to the SPD.
• Evaluate project performance against predefined metrics, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards and client expectations for assigned projects.
• Implement approved change requests, ensuring alignment with project scope and goals.
