Job summary

The American Institutes for Research seeks a Vice President, Program Lead for the Healthcare Innovations (HI) Program. You will direct people, projects, and business development to achieve high performance and strong client satisfaction across health economics, data science, and mixed-methods research.

The HI Program Lead collaborates with CMS, MedPAC, MACPAC, and other clients, shaping vision, budgets, and talent development.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Health Economics, Health Services Research, or related field.
Minimum 20 years designing, implementing, and evaluating health care delivery and payment programs.
Minimum 5 years in a leadership role and proven project and revenue growth experience.
Subject matter expertise in health economics and models including CMMI.
Strong proposal development, staffing, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements new business plans and strategies for the HI program.
Leads execution and management of the HI Program's projects, people, and business pursuits.
Provides strategic leadership in design, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare models.
Manages budgets, annual plans, and collaboration with program leadership.
Establishes trusted advisor relationships with clients and partners; drives growth.
