Job summary

Gatesource HR is partnering with a leading global player in mineral processing and engineering solutions to identify a Project Development Manager to drive growth across North America. This frontline, field-based commercial role focuses on early engagement at customer sites, building revenue-generating projects including engineering studies, plant upgrades, and modular solutions.

You will work with plant operations and project stakeholders to lead opportunities from concept through negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or related field.
• 8–10+ years of technical and commercial experience in engineering consulting EPC/EPCM or mining/mineral processing.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North America, and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Be present where the work happens and spend significant time on-site with customers.
• Identify operational challenges and improvement opportunities firsthand.
• Build and manage a pipeline across engineering studies, brownfield upgrades, modular plants and capital solutions.
• Lead commercial strategy, negotiations and win strategies early in pursuit.
• Own a personal revenue target and drive complex sales cycles with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM discipline throughout opportunities.
• Translate plant issues into scoped, costed solutions and partner with engineering teams.
