Genuine Search Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead capital execution and process engineering across two mining and minerals facilities. You will own projects cradle-to-grave—from concept and cost approval to flowsheet design, vendor procurement, commissioning, and ramp-up—driving safety and reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in mining or mineral processing, a bachelor’s in engineering, and willingness to travel ~50% between sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
• 5+ years of project engineering experience in mining, mineral processing, or manufacturing operations.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% between designated regional mining and processing operations.
• Demonstrated track record of running multi-discipline projects autonomously across multiple locations.
• Hands-on experience with mineral flowsheet development, mass-energy balances, and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End CapEx Execution: Lead multiple capital engineering projects concurrently ($1M–$15M+) across two processing sites, managing scoping, budget approval, engineering design, installation, and operational handoff.
• Mineral Processing Optimization: Design, spec, and optimize heavy industrial equipment—including crushing, grinding, flotation, sizing, screening, drying, and materials handling systems.
• Dual-Site Operations & Travel: Split site presence (~50% travel) between two regional facilities, collaborating with Plant Managers and Metallurgy teams to address bottlenecks.
• Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: Lead RCA and process improvement using Lean Six Sigma tools to boost yield, energy efficiency, and OEE.
• Contractor & OEM Management: Oversee EPC/EPCM firms, equipment OEMs, and trade contractors during construction, shutdowns, commissioning.
