Job summary

Nordmin Engineering USA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mining and mineral processing projects from concept through completion. You will mentor a growing team and work directly with clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

The role requires leading projects, guiding design standards, and coordinating with other disciplines, with occasional site visits (about 10% travel) from our Salt Lake City, Utah office and other North American locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• U.S. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• 10+ years of experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with engineering consulting firms, equipment vendors, or mining companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept through detailed design and construction support.
• Prepare engineering plans, calculations, and construction documents.
• Develop technical specifications for equipment procurement and installation.
