Job summary

Catholic Relief Services seeks a Business Development Specialist II, Project Design, to guide design across the organization. You will lead strategic opportunities, manage capture activities, and mentor teams on design processes, theory of change, MEAL plans, and donor engagement.

As part of the global BD team, you will advance design capabilities, support resource mobilization, and collaborate with regional staff to ensure competitive proposals and responsive programming.

Qualifications

• Experience with project design, including a design process, theory of change, results framework and MEAL plan.
• Proven proposal writing and donor engagement skills.
• Excellent English writing and communication; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture activities and set plans with country/region leadership for strategic partnerships.
• Advise and support teams in developing proposal development plans and budgeting.
• Plan and facilitate in-person and hybrid design sessions and workshops.
• Roll out ProPack and advocate for best-practice design resources across CRS.
• Travel internationally up to 35%.
