Job summary

IBTCI, a U.S.-based international development consulting company, seeks a Business Development Consultant to support full life-cycle proposal management. The role requires 8+ years in BD, 3+ years with DoS submissions, and strong English writing skills. Fluency in other languages is a plus.

The position offers remote work and collaboration across BD and Technical teams. Ideal candidates have experience with US donor-funded RFPs/RFQs (DoS, World Bank, UN, MCC), and the ability to coordinate

Qualifications

At least 8 years of business development experience.
At least 3 years of DoS proposal submissions experience.
Experience with US donor-funded RFP/RFA/RFQs (DoS, World Bank, UN, MCC).
Excellent English writing and editing skills.
Able to work with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead capture activities, including research, analyzing competition and potential partners.
Read solicitations to identify critical items for compliant responses.
Help develop win themes.
Coordinate full life-cycle proposals with oversight on outlines, calendars, and checklists.
Facilitate white boarding sessions and lead color review meetings.
Assist with non-technical sections of technical proposals.
Ensure technical cost proposals meet all solicitation requirements.
Coordinate with BD and Technical teams as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
