Job summary

CRS is seeking a Business Development Specialist II, Project Design to guide design across donor-funded projects in a global remote setting. You will lead strategic opportunities, develop design resources, and advise on proposals to ensure responsive, evidence-informed design.

The role integrates BD, programming, and technical teams to improve grant outcomes. You will engage in roll-out of ProPack, design trainings, and knowledge sharing across the agency while supporting regional and country

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in international development or related field.
• Minimum eight years of international development experience, with BD or design exposure in proposals.
• Two years of experience in multi-cultural/multilingual contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design lead activities for strategic opportunities, coordinating with country and regional leadership.
• Advise on proposal development plans, ensuring design processes meet donors and CRS standards.
• Plan and facilitate in-person and hybrid design sessions and workshops with stakeholder engagement.
• Support rollout of ProPack and related design resources across CRS.
• Contribute to CRS Design Community of Practice and share best practices.
• Track design trends and contribute to cross-agency committees and BD initiatives.
• Support Resource Mobilization alignment with regional strategies.
• Build relations with regions and internal stakeholders to advance capture initiatives.
