Job summary

ThinkOps is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator / Data Analyst to support an active HRIS Transformation project on a temporary contract basis. You will collaborate with the Program Manager and cross-functional leads to coordinate activities, document progress, and analyze data.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced HRIS environment. Remote US-based work with the project team is available.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or data analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivots and data reconciliation.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agendas, meeting notes, action items, and follow‑ups.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, task trackers, and RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies).
• Gather progress updates from workstream owners and assist with preparing project status reports.
• Monitor outstanding action items, deadlines, and dependencies, proactively following up with responsible stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain project documentation, requirements, process maps, testing materials, and implementation deliverables.
• Assist with gathering, documenting, and organizing business and system requirements.
• Identify gaps, outstanding questions, and follow‑up needs, escalating issues appropriately.
• Support system testing activities, including test scenario documentation, results tracking, defect logging, and resolution follow‑up.
• Support HRIS data analysis, cleanup, validation, reconciliation, and preparation for system imports.
• Analyze and compare employee, position, organizational, and other HR‑related data across multiple systems and files.
• Identify data discrepancies, missing information, and inconsistencies requiring further investigation or correction.
• Develop and maintain Excel workbooks, data trackers, reconciliation reports, and other analysis tools.
• Work with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to investigate data issues and track resolution.
