Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting (or a closely related field).
• Strong organization and attention to detail; you keep many moving pieces straight without dropping any.
• Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets (Excel), and genuine interest in how a services business runs and bills.
• Clear written and verbal communication — you can chase a status update without chasing people off.
• Ability to work US business hours, based in Austin, TX or Southern California.
• A proactive, ownership mindset — you spot what needs doing and get it done.

Responsibilities

• Keep engagements on track — build and maintain project schedules, track milestones and deliverables, and flag risks before they slip.
• Track consultant time, resourcing, and utilization across engagements so the delivery picture stays current.
• Support billing and finance — prepare and review time‑and‑expense entries, assist with invoicing, and help keep billing accurate and on time.
• Administer SOWs and change orders, and keep project documentation and status reporting clean and up to date.
• Coordinate across delivery teams, consultants, and clients on schedules, status, and logistics.
• Partner with the PMO and finance to improve realization, reduce revenue leakage, and tighten collections (DSO).
