Job summary

Caravel | BPM Technology Solutions seeks an early-career Project Coordinator (Accounting) to help keep engagements on track and on-budget, managing schedules, utilization, and supporting billing and finance. You will work at the intersection of delivery and finance with senior consultants, becoming billable to client work within about two months.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (recent graduate or early-career).
Strong organization and attention to detail; you manage many moving pieces without dropping them.
Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets (Excel) and understanding how a services business runs and bills.
Clear written and verbal communication; you can chase status updates efficiently.

Responsibilities

Keep engagements on track — build and maintain project schedules, track milestones and deliverables, and flag risks.
Track consultant time, resourcing, and utilization across engagements.
Support billing and finance — prepare and review time-and-expense entries, assist with invoicing, and help keep billing accurate and on time.
Administer SOWs and change orders, and maintain clean project documentation and status reporting.
Coordinate across delivery teams, consultants, and clients on schedules, status, and logistics.
Partner with PMO and finance to improve realization and tighten collections (DSO).
