Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Project Control Analyst to provide project control and financial analysis support across assigned programs and portfolios.

The role supports a distributed, remote-friendly department with occasional travel to related sites. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in project control/FP&A, with Government Contracting experience and strong proficiency in Deltek CostPoint, Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in Project Control, FP&A, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Government contracting experience.
• Familiar with Deltek CostPoint, Workday Adaptive Planning, Power BI; SMARTSHEETS a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform contract and program level performance analysis.
• Prepare and coordinate budgets, operation plans, forecasts, what-if scenarios, and capital allocation reports.
• Monitor funding, expenditures, commitments, and remaining balances and provide regular updates to Program Managers for each effort
• Identify potential execution risks or variances from budget and communicate issues/actions with the appropriate PM
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as necessary to identify trends and link outcomes to drivers.
• Interface with the Finance, Accounting, and Contracts team for related project/program issues.
• Support time management reconciliation and the tracking and processing of subcontractor and vendor invoices.
