PMA is seeking a Cost Analyst to support cost management and project controls across engineering and construction projects. You will analyze costs, prepare reports, assist budgeting and forecasting, and identify opportunities to improve cost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 0+ years of experience in cost control or financial data analysis.
• MS Word and PowerPoint experience preferred.
• Databases and reporting experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in construction, engineering, and project controls.
• Equivalent education/experience considered in lieu of stated minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost performance.
• Review change orders, contracts, and payment applications.
• Perform cost analysis, variance reporting, and earned value tracking.
• Develop cost estimates and support risk-based cost strategies.
• Prepare and present cost reports and project cashflows to stakeholders.
• Support the use of project controls and cost management systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
