Job summary

Native Ways Federation seeks a Programs Director to lead and advance its national program work. You will guide strategy, design and evaluation, while cultivating relationships with Native-led nonprofits, donors, and partners to grow impact.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will work with the Leadership Team to shape strategy, manage resources, and ensure programs align with community priorities and values. This is a remote, full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• At least 7 years of professional work in nonprofit/philanthropy.
• Experience with Native-led organizations or Indigenous communities preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Native Ways Federation's programs and initiatives.
• Represent the organization in philanthropic, nonprofit, and Native community spaces.
• Lead program development, evaluation, and continuous learning.
• Supervise program staff and foster a collaborative team culture.
