Job summary

Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP) is seeking a Program Manager to plan and implement national and regional programs for NAP's network of Native nonprofits and philanthropies, providing learning opportunities and encouraging deeper connections.

The role reports to the CEO and works with NAP staff and consultants to ensure program effectiveness and responsiveness, embracing Native cultures and worldview in all processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of overall professional experience with minimum 3 years of program management experience.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for audiences including entry-level nonprofits to executives.
• Advanced written communication with ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel nationwide up to 30 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development and promotion of professional development, training, and networking programs and events.
• Collaborate with NAP staff, planning teams and subject matter experts for programs and events.
• Develop and manage program calendar and budget.
• Supervise Regional Action Network Weavers and develop regional programming.
• Develop and update program curriculum including presentations and materials.
• Coordinate program and event logistics such as registration, venue, A/V, and refreshments.
• Collect and analyze attendance and evaluation data and expenses vs budget.
• Coordinate research projects with Indigenous scholars to support education and investment in tribal communities.
• Apply continuous improvement and Native cultural perspectives to enhance programs.
• Represent NAP at events and engagements as needed.
