Job summary

Prevention Now is a nonprofit using data and partnerships to prevent human trafficking across the United States. We seek a Program Manager to design, manage, and evaluate programs in collaboration with our CEO, partnering with local nonprofits and state agencies.

This full-time, exempt role requires travel and US residency. The role focuses on program design, MERL-informed evaluation, and stakeholder engagement to deliver impactful prevention initiatives nationwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Public Health, Public Administration, or related.
5+ years of progressive program management experience, preferably in public health, consulting or community-based work.
Proven track record of partnership development and stakeholder management with NGOs and government agencies.
Demonstrated experience developing and managing projects from start to finish, including milestones, budget, and stakeholder engagement rhythms.
Experience developing and leading projects with remote/distributed teams.
Demonstrated experience translating complex, data-heavy material to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience facilitating structured Program Design workshops and processes, preferred.
Solid understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks applied to diverse programming, preferred.
Experience using project management tools (e.g. Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, Notion, or similar) to manage workflows and team accountability across distributed teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at varying stages, balancing competing priorities without dropping quality.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, planning, and implementation for a portfolio of projects applying advanced data analytics to prevent trafficking.
Support strategic planning to align programs with organizational goals.
Identify and address barriers to program execution and communicate risks.
Track and report on program progress with KPIs.
Steward partnerships with local nonprofits and state agencies to advance goals.
Manage projects from initiation through closeout with defined scopes and budgets.
Develop charters, budgets, and status reports to align teams and partners.
Identify risks and changes and propose mitigations.
Establish systems for tracking tasks, deadlines, and accountability.
Lead kickoff and closeout processes and document lessons learned.
Implement project processes for stakeholder engagement and budget review.
Coordinate with external partners to advance program delivery.
