Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a Program Manager to lead the implementation of its Community Program Offerings. This remote role serves the South Sound area of Washington and coordinates a grassroots volunteer network to expand awareness, education and support nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers.
• Confident, goal-oriented, positive self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements that meet organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using Association methods such as peer coaching, Mission Conversations, and quality improvement strategies.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships, including with underrepresented groups, to host programs and expand reach.
• Develop and execute data-informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements.
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration to identify awareness opportunities and expand reach.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance, and manage budgets and timelines with precision.
• Inspire urgency and support for the mission across all communities, especially underrepresented ones.
