Job summary

Alzheimer’s Association in Jamestown, ND seeks a Program Manager to lead grassroots volunteer mobilization and community partnerships. You will activate volunteers, engage local partners, and expand reach to under‑resourced rural areas, driving awareness, education, and support year after year.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in volunteer mobilization, with up to 60% travel. Competitive benefits accompany a salary range of $50,000–$62,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, education, management, nursing or related Health and Human service fields.
• 3 – 5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, and manage volunteers to build grassroots movements that meet organizational goals.
• Activate and support volunteers using Association methods and manage a balanced portfolio of Community Program Offerings with measurable growth.
• Cultivate and manage community partnerships, including with underrepresented groups, to enhance awareness, education, support, and brand visibility in all communities.
• Develop and execute data‑informed community impact plans and secure Community Partner Agreements using a relationship‑sales method.
• Demonstrate cross‑functional collaboration to identify awareness opportunities and engage supporters to expand reach and impact.
• Evaluate and improve volunteer performance as needed.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that sustains long‑term community impact and volunteer engagement.
• Inspire urgency and support for the Association’s mission across communities with an emphasis on reaching under‑represented groups.
• Deliver brain health and dementia education in North Dakota and implement program reach strategy.
• Model behaviors that align with the Association’s goals and values.
• Provide backup support to ND Program Director and Sr. Program Manager as needed.
• Implements grant‑funded projects to achieve objectives per grant policies.
• Travel to communities in southeastern/central North Dakota to recruit/engage volunteers and partners when virtual delivery is not possible.
• Other duties as assigned.
