Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Manager of Professional Services to lead a remote team across implementations and VMS platforms, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and continuous improvement. You will mentor staff, drive SOPs and best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external customers.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in IT or VMS management, strong PM and communication skills, and experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, JIRA, and integration tech.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in IT, database management, or systems administration with leadership experience
• 10+ years' experience using VMS platforms in MSP industry
• Deep expertise in VMS platforms and implementation methodologies
• Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams in a remote environment
• Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with integration technologies (SSO, SFTP, APIs) and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in ServiceNow, Salesforce, JIRA, and MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team that administers and configures multiple VMS tools
• Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and quality standards to ensure on-time delivery
• Foster a learning and sharing environment within the team
• Develop and document best practices, SOPs, and scalable processes
• Mentor and train staff for successful delivery
• Provide performance feedback and support career development
• Support change management and adoption of new tools
• Contribute to strategic planning and departmental growth
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve cases via ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Salesforce, JIRA)
• Perform other duties as assigned
