Job summary

FIT Solutions is seeking a Remote Professional Services Engineer to oversee IT infrastructure projects from conception to execution. You will define requirements, drive design and implementation, and ensure security and compliance across engagements.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting ability, and excellent communication with clients and internal teams. Remote work in the Eastern Time Zone is supported, with travel up to 40% for client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in project management, engineering, or systems design.
• Advanced experience deploying/configuring Azure, AWS, and SharePoint.
• Experience with server hardware and networking equipment, firewalls, switches.

Responsibilities

• Define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Design, develop, and implement IT infrastructure and software solutions per project needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues across project lifecycles.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and system diagrams.
• Oversee vendor selection and cost estimates; monitor progress.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to adjust plans as needed.
