Job summary

FIT Solutions in San Diego, CA is seeking an Engineer to support diverse client environments onsite. You will troubleshoot, install, and maintain network elements and servers, with exposure to virtualization, Active Directory, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix).
• Experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Proficiency with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience supporting macOS environments.
• Strong end-user and remote technical support skills.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11.
• Experience with PSA and/or RMM platforms.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and systems administration.
• Relevant technical certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain client relationships through proactive engineering and problem solving to generate revenue.
• Deliver best-in-class customer service to uphold raving fan culture.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems onsite.
• Onboard the new client’s users, documenting the client’s infrastructure for review by the engineering team.
• Provide timely resolutions of system and/or application problems and follow through to completion.
• Assist in documentation and training to enhance client experience.
• Install, configure, and maintain network elements, computer systems and related equipment.
