Blew & Associates, P.A. is a national firm with 130+ years in land surveying, engineering, and environmental services. We seek a Professional Land Surveyor to lead survey crews, review boundaries, easements, deeds, and titles, and perform in-depth research at multiple government levels.

The role involves evaluating field data and maps, calculating quantities, and coordinating with the operations team to meet project timelines and budgets. Remote work capability is valued.

Qualifications

• Valid Professional Land Surveyor license is required; multiple state licensure is a plus.
• Field and office experience in land surveying is essential.
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating revenue.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and taking direction.
• Proven track record of managing survey crews.
• Ability to work remotely is important for success in this role.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey; proficiency with Quickbase is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage survey technicians.
• Perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews.
• Conduct detailed research at town, county, and state levels.
• Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photos, and other materials for constraints and approach.
• Calculate quantities and volumes; communicate with crew chiefs daily.
• Collaborate with drafting managers, design staff, and operations for status updates and revisions.
