Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist to audit professional fee coding and educate users on coding quality. The role supports remote work with a flexible schedule, and emphasizes accuracy, ethics, and regulatory awareness. CPC certification is required, CPMA preferred, with experience in Epic or Cerner.

Availability around 20 hours per week is preferred. Ideal candidates will manage multiple cases, provide clear change rationales, and maintain a high accuracy rate while delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• Certification: CPC is required; CPMA preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Perform Professional Fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Provide concise rationale with references and documentation locations for changes.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and educate coders during audits.
• Organize multiple cases concurrently to maintain workflow and resolution.
