Datavant is seeking a Profee Auditing Specialist. This fully remote role requires 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing and a CPC credential, with a strong accuracy track record. Flexible hours apply.

You will audit medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers, provide clear rationale for changes, stay current on regulations, educate coders, and support multi-specialty workflows while upholding AHIMA ethics.

Formación

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding and/or auditing.
• CPC certification required.
• CPMA preferred.
• Maintain 95% accuracy.
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, and other EMRs.

Responsabilidades

• Performs Professional Fee coding audits of medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Provides clear rationale for identified changes with references.
• Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
• Organizes and prioritizes multiple cases concurrently.
• Educates coders through the auditing process.
• Upholds AHIMA's code of ethics.
• Maintains professional, courteous demeanor.
