Banner Health Corporate is seeking a motivated Profee Coder for a fully remote role. The position requires at least 1 year of Primary Care coding experience, with certification through AHIMA or AAPC in active status or eligible.

The role focuses on high-volume E/M coding for a busy family practice clinic, including HCC and annual/physical exams. Aspectos include working remote with AZ hours (8am–5pm AZ time) and flexible scheduling after training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent experience in E/M Family Practice coding.
• Must be certified through AAPC or AHIMA in active status or eligible.
• Remote work capability with standard office software and coding systems.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates medical records and assigns ICD/CPT codes per national guidelines.
• Abstracts diagnoses, procedures and documents into EMR with complete records.
• Ensures compliance with CMS, Medicaid, OIG, HCFA and company standards.
• Generates daily/monthly reports for research or analysis purposes.
• Works independently under supervision and seeks guidance as needed.
