Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a motivated Certified Profee Coder in a full-time remote role. You will manage high-volume coding for a busy family practice clinic, including charges for HCC diagnostics and annual physical exams, with flexible scheduling after training.

You will analyze medical records, abstract diagnoses and procedures into the EMR, and provide quality assurance to ensure coding accuracy and compliance with ICD/CPT guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent experience in E/M Family Practice coding.
• Current certification through AAPC or AHIMA.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent training in medical record keeping principles.
• Six months of professional coding services or related healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding principles as demonstrated by certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and accurately code diagnostic and procedural information in accordance with national coding guidelines.
• Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes into electronic medical records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
