Job summary

Banner Health Corporate is seeking a motivated Certified Medical Coder | Profee Coder with 3+ years of Neurology and/or Neurosurgery complex coding experience to join our remote team. The role supports a fully remote environment with schedule flexibility and opportunities for growth.

Ideal applicants are CPC/CCS/CCS-P/RHIA/RHIT certified and have experience in remote healthcare coding, abstraction and QA. The position emphasizes accuracy, compliance and collaboration within a national team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Neurology and/or Neurosurgery complex coding experience.
• Must be certified through CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT.
• Remote coding environment experience required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately code complex neurology and neurosurgery cases per CPT/ICD guidelines.
• Abstract medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (CMS, OIG, HCFA).
• Provide quality assurance for medical records and assist with data/reporting.
