Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Product Manager (Accounting SME and Tech Solutions Advisor) to rapidly validate product strategies and align with contract requirements, bridging state government accounting practices with technology solutions.

The incumbent works closely with stakeholders, design, and engineering teams to plan and scope work. What you'll do includes providing expert knowledge, leading system integrations, and collaborating across legal, policy, business, and operations

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Product Manager leading cross-functional teams
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial metrics
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for state government
• Proven ability to ship consumer web applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge in accounting practices
• Lead and integrate accounting software solutions and system integrations
• Guide stakeholders through complex government policy implementations
• Develop and review program documentation and training materials
• Collaborate with legal, policy, business, and ops teams to ensure accurate accounting processes
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes
• Review content for accuracy and completeness
• Lead integration projects to improve data accuracy and process efficiency
• Provide training and support on new software applications
