Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Product Manager (Accounting SME and Tech Solutions Advisor) to validate product strategies against government contract requirements and bridge state accounting practices with technology solutions.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders, design, and engineering to scope work and deliver value. The role emphasizes accounting expertise, system integrations, and working across legal, policy, business, and operations teams to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years as a Product Manager of a cross-functional team
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial measurement tools and accounting principles
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with state government regulations
• Ability to generate strong product plans and build buy-in across teams and partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical, UX, and project management trade-offs

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting knowledge and insights in product discovery and development
• Guide stakeholders through complex public policy implementations and business processes
• Lead integration of accounting software solutions and data workflows
• Collaborate with legal, policy, business, and IT teams to ensure compliant accounting processes
• Define product direction, scope, and metrics with design and engineering
• Socialize and gain buy-in for initiatives with government partners and contractors
• Measure progress and translate data into actionable improvements
