Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Product Manager (Accounting SME and Tech Solutions Advisor) to rapidly validate product strategies and align with contract requirements for government accounting practices and technology solutions.

You will bridge state government accounting needs with modern software, working with design, engineering, and stakeholders to plan and scope work. A strong accounting background and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years leading cross-functional product teams.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial measurement and accounting principles.
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, and state government regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert accounting knowledge and insights.
• Lead accounting software implementations and integrations.
• Guide stakeholders through complex public policy processes and business workflows.
• Communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Develop and review program documentation and training content.
• Collaborate across legal, policy, business, and operations teams for accurate accounting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and process controls.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations.
• Review content produced by others for accuracy.
• Lead integration of accounting software to improve data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues related to software implementations and integrations.
• Coordinate with IT for audits, system monitoring, and logging.
• Provide training and support on new software tools.
• Define vision, goals, and success metrics for products.
