Job summary

Protective Industrial Products seeks a The Above the Neck Product Sales Manager who partners with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to drive growth and training. Territory includes TX, LA, MS, AR, OK, NM, with remote work supported.

Responsibilities include supporting sales objectives, conducting training, developing tools, and launching new products while monitoring competitive landscape and market feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred; practical experience considered.
• 3–5 years in sales, product support, or training, ideally in industrial distribution or PPE.
• Strong presentation, communication and training skills for diverse audiences.
• Travel up to 50–60% to support field training and events.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and virtual training platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support sales objectives by providing product expertise and field support.
• Conduct product training sessions for internal teams, distributors, and end users.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Product Management for tools, presentations, and training materials.
• Assist in launching new products and communicating features and benefits.
• Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape and provide insights.
• Gather market feedback and share findings with Product Management.
• Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and growth initiatives via data reporting.
• Analyze product performance and regional adoption trends.
• Represent PIP at trade shows and distributor events as a product expert.
• Ensure CRM usage and adherence to company policies.
