Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist in the lumber field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best deals.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet company needs for lumber and building materials.
• Place orders, monitor inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitor and analyze purchasing costs; develop cost-reduction strategies.
