Job summary

Rugby Holdings LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of lumber and building materials. This primarily remote role is based in the Mid-West or West Coast with occasional travel to branch locations.

You will manage supplier relationships, develop procurement plans, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with company policies. Strong negotiation skills and experience in the lumber industry are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience in lumber/building materials preferred.
• Based remotely in Mid-West or West Coast with occasional travel to branches.

Responsibilities

• Supplier management: identify, evaluate and establish supplier relationships; negotiate terms.
• Procurement planning: develop purchasing strategies for lumber and building materials.
• Order management: place orders, monitor inventory, ensure timely delivery.
• Cost control: monitor costs and pursue cost-saving strategies.
• Inventory management: coordinate with warehouse teams to optimize stock.
• Documentation and reporting: maintain records and present procurement metrics.
