Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in supply chain or related fields, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with procurement software.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in supply chain or related field.
• Experience in lumber/building materials is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with procurement software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and partner with reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to secure best deals.
• Develop purchasing strategies for lumber and building materials.
• Place orders, monitor inventory and ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams on stock levels and forecast.
• Maintain records and prepare procurement performance reports.
