Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist in the lumber field.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Procurement Planning: Develop and implement purchasing strategies for lumber and building materials.
• Order Management: Place orders, monitor inventory, ensure timely delivery.
• Cost Control: Monitor and analyze purchasing costs to reduce expenses.
• Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams for optimal stock levels.
