Rugby Holdings LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist for a primarily remote position based out of the Mid-West or West Coast. You will source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement of lumber and building materials while ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Proven experience as Procurement Specialist in lumber field is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: identify and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing/terms.
• Procurement Planning: develop purchasing strategies for lumber and building materials based on market trends.
• Order Management: place orders, monitor inventory, ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
• Cost Control: analyze costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.
• Inventory Management: coordinate with warehouses to maintain optimal stock levels and forecast demand.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain records and present procurement performance metrics.
• Compliance: ensure purchasing activities comply with policies and regulations.
