Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories is seeking a remote Procurement Contract Specialist to drive contract review, metadata capture, and data governance across the enterprise. You will partner with Procurement, Legal, and suppliers to optimize cycle time and compliance.

The role emphasizes workflow coordination, adherence to templates, and maintaining centralized contract records while escalating terms that require Legal input. A strong healthcare contracting background is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in contract administration or procurement.
• Experience with contract templates and playbooks.
• Experience coordinating between Procurement and Legal.
• Healthcare/regulated industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Procurement and Legal for contract workflow and prioritization.
• Perform first-pass review of supplier agreements using approved standards.
• Identify and redline commercial terms to protect the company.
• Escalate legal issues to Legal and avoid providing legal advice.
• Coordinate with Procurement to assess urgency, scope, and financial impact.
• Maintain contract tracker and report on volume, aging, and milestones.
• Ensure documentation is stored in the contract repository with metadata.
• Support signature-ready docs and handoff to e-signature process.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to templates and playbooks.
• Support CLM tools and dashboards administration.
