Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. seeks a Process Consultant on a full-time contract basis to evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver practical solutions improving efficiency, quality, and productivity.

You will conduct assessments, map processes, and collaborate with leaders across functions to design and implement sustainable improvements, with a focus on automation and standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in process consulting, business analysis, operations, process improvement, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow design, process optimization, and operational improvement.
• Experience developing process maps, workflow diagrams, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable process recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams at different levels.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process assessments, interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Document current-state and future-state processes using maps and diagrams.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for automation.
• Develop recommendations and strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with leaders and teams to design effective process solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and workflow specifications.
• Support process redesign, optimization, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate impact of changes on people, systems, costs, and performance.
• Establish metrics and reporting to measure improvements.
• Analyze data and trends to identify root causes and evidence-based recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Support change management for new processes, systems, and policies.
• Monitor performance post-implementation and propose further improvements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation.
