Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Process Consultant on a full-time contract basis to evaluate business processes, identify improvements, and develop solutions that boost efficiency, quality, and productivity across functions.

You will lead assessments, document current and future states with process maps, work with leaders and teams, and drive standardized procedures while measuring outcomes and guiding change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process consulting or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of process analysis, workflow design, and operational improvement.
• Experience documenting processes with maps, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating to actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong stakeholder management.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and process-mapping tools; Lean/Six Sigma knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct assessments, interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to capture requirements.
• Document current-state and future-state processes using maps and diagrams.
• Identify bottlenecks, gaps, and costs; propose automation opportunities.
• Develop recommendations aligned with business objectives and priorities.
• Collaborate with leaders and teams to design effective process solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process docs, and workflow specs.
• Support process redesign, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate impact of changes on people, systems, and costs.
• Establish KPIs and reporting to measure improvements.
• Analyze data and performance trends to identify root causes.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and requirements gathering.
• Support change management and adoption of new processes.
• Monitor performance post-implementation and propose further changes.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and standards.
• Prepare presentations, business cases, and executive recommendations.
• Manage multiple consulting assignments and timelines.
