Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Process Consultant on a full-time contract basis to evaluate and optimize business processes, improve efficiency, quality, and productivity across operations.

You will lead assessments, document current and future state, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement practical process solutions, SOPs, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in process consulting, business analysis, operations, process improvement, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow design, process optimization, and operational improvement.
• Experience developing process maps, workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and process documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop practical solutions.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable process recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes, workflows, procedures, and operating models to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct process assessments, interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to understand requirements and challenges.
• Document current-state and future-state processes using maps, flowcharts, and diagrams.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, control gaps, and opportunities for automation.
• Develop recommendations and improvement strategies aligned with objectives and priorities.
• Collaborate with leaders, teams, technology groups, and experts to design effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, guidelines, and workflow specs.
• Support process redesign, optimization, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate impact on people, systems, costs, and performance.
